Kwaharaba Art Gallery and Cafe: Blantyre CBD

After a while of meaning to visit this place I was finally able to do it this Easter Weekend, twice - First on Saturday and again on Sunday afternoon. The Sunday visit was unplanned but ended up being the making of great memories.

They were closed on both days but it was still a great visit.

I noticed their theme is around the nthano (tales) we were told while we were young and it was so exciting to note. The metal painted drum with the words padangokhala positioned on one side and another drum with tili tonse positioned on the opposite side create such a beautiful picture. The art is beautiful and there’s plenty of photo spots/opportunities around.

If you love art and cozy little spaces definitely check Kwaharaba out.

Cheers!
